TorreyCommerce Goes Green

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – August 14, 2007 – TorreyCommerce announces plans to plant a tree for every new client. In an effort to reduce the "carbon footprint" generated by the manufacturing process of home furnishings, for each Client that launches an e-Commerce site, TorreyCommerce will plant a tree.

Preserving the environment has always been important to Gavin Mandelbaum, founder of TorreyCommerce. Not only does the company's name, TorreyCommerce, pay tribute to the Torrey pine -- one of the most endangered and rarest pine in North America -- but also, Mandelbaum believes that we can actively reduce the negative effects of deforestation and urbanization.
