TorreyCommerce's management team has run fast-growth companies from start-up to maturity. Here's a glimpse of some of the people who make it happen.
Gavin is a pioneer in the field of ecommerce and is continuously pushing the envelope in his quest to develop the most cutting-edge and result-driven technologies for his clients. He has a gift for understanding the psychology of the eshopper and the technology of the application, allowing him to develop innovative, rapidly deployed and effective ecommerce solutions.
Gavin is the first to admit that any success that torreycommerce achieves is a direct result of the talent and hard work of his team. The flexibility, creativity and intelligence of his young yet experienced co-workers puts torreycommerce at the forefront of ecommerce solution providers.
Prior to founding torreycommerce, Gavin founded iBaby, an online baby retailer, which was acquired by iVillage. He then co-founded BabyCenter.com, acquired by eToys and later Johnson & Johnson, and iMaternity.com, acquired by Destination Maternity. Later, he founded iHome.com, which was acquired by the original Linens 'n Things.
Gavin is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and a long-standing, die-hard Cal sports fan (Go Bears!). In his free time, he enjoys running stairs at the San Diego Convention Center and taking his three boys hiking on the “nut trail”. Gavin is such a hi-tech gadget junkie that he purchased the first Blackberry smart phone as a wedding gift for his new bride. And yes…they are still very happily married!
