TorreyCommerce Introduces the Countdown Timer

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - May 05, 2009 -- TorreyCommerce now has a countdown timer feature at the collection level. It displays next to products, counting down the hours remaining to make a purchase. Robyn Statman has seen conversion rates increase by 10%. "When the consumer feels a sense of urgency in purchasing a product, she is more likely to actually buy than if she knows she can buy later. It's not unlike a tourist buying a unique souvenir on his last day of vacation. A window of opportunity is closing.
